‘Top Chef’ Finalist Eric Adjepong Brings West African Dishes to the Grocery Store
Fans of Top Chef will undoubtedly be familiar with chef Eric Adjepong, a much-beloved contestant on seasons 16 and 17. As a Ghanaian-American, he was the show’s first contestant to truly highlight West African foods and flavors.
His passion for his cultural heritage was infectious, and so it comes as no surprise that he is partnering with AYO foods, a line of frozen, pre-made West African dishes like Jollof Rice and Puff Puff that launched last year and can be found in Whole Foods and Kroger stores.

Welcome!
In West Africa, Ayo means joy. So it was fitting that when a natural products industry vet and a serial entrepreneur combined their talents it would be a labor of love that inspired lots of joy along the way.
Anyone who knows us will tell you that nothing brings us more joy than sharing a meal with friends and family. So sit down, dig in, and join us as we celebrate the culture, the people, and the food that inspires us.

Testimonials
The meal was flavorful and had good texture (which isn’t always true for frozen prepared items). I love how the meat is used to add flavor but the cassava is the star.
Delicious, fragrantful, and convenient! I’ve stopped eating as much pre-made food as I used to because I get bored of eating the same thing over and over again and most companies offer the same things. This was definitely a new experience and added to the options of what I can grab and pack on the go for work lunch.
This stuff is absolutely baller. I love the chance to try other cuisines without having to spend a million dollars on traveling there, and this gave me that. Delicious.
We couldn't be more pleased, the products and services are absolutely fantastic!
