Ground cassava leaves, chicken, and spices slow cooked into a savory stew
What is Cassava?
The cassava plant, also known as yuca, is staple crop in Africa. Families depend on cassava as a vital link for both food and income. Our recipe starts by grinding the plant’s protein-rich leaves. Next, we slow simmer them with hormone free chicken, habanero peppers, and savory spices until it cooks down into our family favorite stew.

We ❤️ Jollof Rice
Anyone in West Africa knows that there is a great debate over what country makes the best Jollof Rice. We’re confident you’ll love our classic version with long grain rice, tomatoes, peppers, and onions as much as we do!

“Soup-er” Egusi
Egusi is a wild member of the gourd family. While the seeds look similar to a watermelon they taste quite different and are extremely nutritious- high in protein and healthy fats.
In West Africa, Ayo means joy. So it was fitting that when a natural products industry vet and serial entrepreneur combined their talents it would be a labor of love that inspired lots of joy along the way.
Anyone who knows us will tell you that nothing brings us more joy than sharing a meal with friends and family. So sit down, dig in, and join us as we celebrate the culture, the people, and the food that inspires us.
Enjoy!
